Lake Norfork is fed by the North Fork River and offers a large variety of fresh water game fish…..walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, white bass, stripers, hybrid bass, crappie, catfish and more.  With our mild winters, the lake never freezes and fishing is excellent year round.  Each year striped bass in the 20-40 lb. class are caught.  Winter time brings some of the best fishing ever with black bass fishing and night fishing for white bass and crappie.  If you prefer trout fishing, the Norfork River below the dam and the White River offer the best of the best.  In 1988 the former world-record brown trout was caught.  In 2000, a state-record brook trout was caught, weighing in at 4 lb. 12 oz.  The local marinas have everything you need to get that catch of a lifetime.
